Privacy Policy

Overview

Asistente IA is a Chrome extension that reads exam content from the active browser tab and sends it to the Claude AI API to generate answers. This policy describes what data is accessed and how it is used.

Data accessed

• Text content of the active tab (exam questions and exercises)
• Screenshots of the visible portion of the active tab
• Claude API key entered by the user (stored locally)
• Selected AI model preference (stored locally)

How data is used

Tab content and screenshots are sent exclusively to the Claude AI API (via a Cloudflare Worker proxy) for the sole purpose of generating exam answers. This data is not stored, logged, or shared with any third party beyond what is required to fulfill the API request.

The API key and model preference are stored locally on the user's device using Chrome's storage API and are never transmitted to any server other than the Claude API endpoint.

Data not collected

• No personal information (name, email, age)
• No browsing history or activity tracking
• No financial or authentication information
• No location data
• No data is sold or transferred to third parties

Third-party services

This extension communicates with the Anthropic Claude API to process exam content. Please refer to Anthropic's Privacy Policy for information on how they handle API request data.
